(For the safety of the artists, we would request that you refrain from applause until the end of the performance and we also stress that the THE GREAT PONZANELLI BROTHERS! are professionals and this is not to be tried at home.....your cooperation is greatly appreciated)
In order to put the crowd at ease, THE GREAT PONZANELLI BROTHERS! will demonstrate Master Itchi Imanut's infamous 'The Serpent Snake of Ssses' warm up technique....
Tonight's first routine is performed by the elder of the GREAT PONZANELLI BROTHER! (per tradition going way back to 2003). In this routine, NEAL PONZANELLI! will single handedly dismount from THE RED TABLE OF DEATH! and land safely while leaving FIONN PONZANELLI! the younger of the GREAT PONZANELLI BROTHERS! untouched and safely stationed on.....yes folks.....THE RED TABLE OF DEATH!
In this next routine, we again see the use of THE RED TABLE OF DEATH! as FIONN PONZANELLI! joins his brother (now at a safe distance) on the floor by means of.....dramatic pause....yes...you know what I'm talking about....you've seen it in the blockbuster movie 'Flying Heros of Fantasy and Folly' but you didn't believe it could be done....Ladies and Gentlemen........you see it now before your eyes.....'THE PHANTOM FLYING FIONN!!!!"
Lastly, would the night be complete without the DYNAMIC DUO! performing their signature routine...would you like to see it?....I can't hear you?.....come on Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the GREAT PONZANELLI BROTHERS! we're talking about here....there we go...now I hear you....Ladies AND Gentlemen...I give you...The DEATH DEFYING DUO-DIVE from THE RED TABLE OF DEATH!
This was meant to be the end of the show folks, but we had a special request from a visiting dignatary who's birthday it is today January 4th, 2008, and this person has requested the infamous JAWS OF DEATH! to be performed. Now, as some of you know, this routine is infamous because of the now tragic events of 2005 when...well...perhaps we shoudn't go into detail here as it is a family show, and as the immortal line of the classic film noir "Spinal Tap" goes, 'Police think it was better left unsolved'....so without further adieu (drum roll please)....watch carefully, as FIONN PONZANELLI! carefully places his nose into the salivating jaws of his brother NEAL PONZANELLI!
(cue the Brass Band marching music) Folks, thank you for coming, it must have been quite the honor for you to join us here tonight.
